Day 1: Arrival Casablanca airport
Your driver/guide will welcome you at Casablanca international airport and drive to
Marrakesh through the high way, you will have the chance to discover the Medina of
Marrakesh in half-day city tour if you arrive early.
Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains –Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges
Our Marrakech to Fes 4 days desert tour start from Marrakech at 8am to travel over the
stunning High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local
restaurant we will have the afternoon to visit UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben
Haddou. In Ourzazate we will stop to visit the cinema studios Atlas; here many
international famous films were shot such as: the jewel of the Nile, the Lawrence of
Arabia, The kingdom of Heaven, Galdiator, …. After exploring the studios, we will
continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, where we will stop again to discover a
hidden gem in the heart of City; the Kasbah Taourirte, built in the 17 th century and one
of the world heritage sites. Aterward, we will continue our journey to Dades Gorges
through the green palm grove of Skoura and the road of thousand Kasbahs to reach the
Dades Gorges where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast in the hotel, drive back through the valley to see the amazing rock
formation “the monkey toes”, and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul.
Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra valley you’ll see the
panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Arriving at the
Gorge you’ll walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many rock-climbers come to
enjoy their preferred sport. Continuing our trip to Erfoud to reach the village of
Merzouga, after a welcome mint tea you will experience camel trek in Sahara, guided
by an experienced camel man, to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-
Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a
traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the camp and you will sleep
under nomadic tents. Dinner Bed and Breakfast.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Midelt – Fes
Early morning your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best
sunrise in your life. Afterwards you will camel trek back to your Riad in Merzouga. After
breakfast, you’ll travel to Midelt via the towns of Erfoud and Errachidia, drive along the
magnificent rich Ziz valley. Here you’ll stop to enjoy the panoramic view over the Ziz
Canyon before continue to Fes through the city of Midelt, where we will stop to have
lunch. After lunch we will continue our journey to Fes via Azrou, a berber village in the
Middle Atlas Mountains, before which we stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous
Cedar forest. And then, head to Ifrane “the French village”, to stop for some photos or a
drink before heading on to your accommodation in Fes.
Day 5: Half Day in Fes and head to Chefchaouen
Today, you will have the choice to explore the city of Fes in a half-day city tour of Fes
with local guide, explore the beautiful panoramic view, the old Medina and its beautiful
palaces and old buildings. Or, drive to chefchaouen through the amazing Rif mountains, you will enjoy the blue washed berber villages settled at the top of the Rif Mountains, once in Chefchaouen, you will have a full time to explore the city by your own pace after check in to your accommodation. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast, you will have the choice to spend a half-day in chefchaouen or head to
explore Rabat, the third imperial city and the administration capital of Morocco, in
Rabat, you will visit the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum a,d the Hassan 12 the century unfinished mosque. After visiting Rabat, we will continue our journey towards Casablanca through the Highway, after an hour driver, we will reach Casablabca and we will head to visit the Hassan 2 mosque, one of the landmarks of Casablanca (outside).
Then, we will check in to your hotel in Casablanca
